4 Things to do with kids in the Fall in Spring,TX
If you are new to Spring,TX you might think you need to head to Houston for family fun.
But Spring has so many fun things we can do with the kids in the fall!
I thought I’d share just a few of my family's favorites but there is definitely more than this Ready to make some memories?
Add these 4 spots to your bucket list this Fall!
1. Wunderlich Farms Farmers Market
This one is in my own neighborhood and my absolute favorite interactive working farms!
Don’t miss the Wunderlich Farms Farmers Market on the last Saturday of every month. It’s such a charming spot where the kids can learn a bit about local history while you all enjoy fresh produce and homemade goodies. Plus, there’s always something fun happening with the friendly animals too!
There is also a Fall Festival! Date TBD each year. Families and kids can learn some history, vendors available to shop, candy, candy, and more can.
Free entry, $5 wristbands needed to play the games, Food trucks, Activities and games across the homestead, Shop local vendors and start the holiday shopping, Music and adventure around every corner
I will see you there!
2. Old Time Christmas Tree Farm
First up, let's kick off the season with a trip to the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm. This place is more than just trees—it’s got pumpkin patches, hayrides, and a petting zoo. The kids can pick their own pumpkins, and you can snap a ton of adorable photos. Don't forget to grab some hot cocoa!
3. Old Town Spring
Per their website "Old Town Spring is the historic location of a 19th century railroad hub which grew into Spring, Texas and is now home to over 100 local businesses! Shop, dine and enjoy your visit to Old Town Spring!" We go every year for their Fall Festival and just anytime we want to shop, eat, and hang out as a family. There are Ghost Tours, Live music venues, and an Escape Room for the Teens too!
Check out the website for a directory of all the cool things to do in Old Town Spring.
4. Local Theater Performances
If your crew loves a good show, check out the local theater scene this Fall! Create a Spark Foundation, DPAC, and the National Youth Theater are all putting on amazing performances. It’s such a fun way to introduce the kids to the arts and maybe even inspire a little creativity of their own. My own kids have worked with all three of these theaters and we LOVE their shows!
Let me know if you’re up for any of these—Fall is short and sweet here in Texas, and I don’t want to miss a thing! 🍂👩👧👦
